To find a 3D CAD system that was easy to use yet powerful enough to let a group of automotive enthusiasts realize their dream to design and manufacture the world’s fastest street legal super car and launch a Company.

IronCAD enabled the design phase to move to completion in months rather than the years normally associated with a project scope as large as the Redback Spyder’s. Once the design was complete IronCAD’s modeling and rendering capabilities were vital in obtaining the support of the automotive industries top players. Once the manufacturing phase was under way the visual quality and accuracy of the IronCAD models enabled parts to be manufactured right the first time. The IronCAD models when combined provided a full build history of the car which was used as shop floor assembly instructions when the Redback project moved into its production phase.
