The Challenge:
One of our greatest challenges is translating the client’s design into work orders that can be used by our production team to build high-quality products that are ultimately delivered, on-time to the show. In 1999, Skyline began the search for a tool that would combine the power of CAD with Visual Basic to automate the process of ordering displays.

IronCAD the Productivity Solution:
We contacted IronCAD on a Tuesday evening for information on their products. By Thursday morning we had a copy of IRONCAD in the hands of our project management team. By Friday, we were creating parts and building displays. The following week, IronCAD flew to our Eagan facility to demonstrate to a group of 25 people how IRONCAD could be used by Skyline.

Summary

IRONCAD has allowed us to identify the part numbers that make up an exhibit and, using Visual Basic, provide a list of options for treatments and colors.
With IRONCAD, we were able to design our own database and develop a tool with features that work for our customers.
IRONCAD has given Skyline the ability to create first-class drawings, ensure structural integrity and provide a single-source of information.
