The Company:
The Multiple Discipline Technology Group (MDTG) provides information technology; engineering; environmental and health safety; fabrication and tooling; and homeland security services to companies in the United States.

The Challenge:
Win against other design groups competing for a contract from Oakridge National Laboratories to create parts for a particle accelerator.

The Solution:
IronCAD’s ease-of use allows MDTG engineers to build around imported geometry from Oakridge National Laboratories so engineers spend less time re-creating existing geometry and more time desiging.

Results:
MDTG won the contract for Oakridge National Labs. Their detailed designs were made possible by IronCAD’s flexibility and ease-of-use.

Engineering customized business equipment is the Multiple Discipline Technology Group’s (MDTG) key to success. Since 2001, MDTG has used IronCAD in a variety of scenarios. From aerospace to transportation to homeland defense, IronCAD is MDTG’s primary design application.[Read More]

"“Other CAD systems expect engineers to adapt to the system’s history-dependent design intent. IronCAD adapts to the engineer. I’m the one who choose where and when to apply design intent”
