Founded in 1983, Camtek has over 14,000 licenses worldwide, managed through its network of
dealers and OEMS. Many machine tools are supplied with PEPS SolidCut as standard. PEPS also won award for best
support in American Machinist magazine.
Applications include production and tool room milling and EDM, 2-axis to multi-axis turning and
multi-axis laser (including tube-cutting applications). Machine types supported by the system include 2 1/2D drilling
and milling machines, multi-axis / indexable axis machining centres, 2-axis lathes, multi-axis turning centres with ‘Y’
and indexable or simultaneous rotary ‘C’ axes with milling live tooling, Wire EDM machinery used for 2-axis profiling
and for full 4-axis cutting, and Laser-cutting machine tools used for profiling of flat components, or 3- through to
6-axis machines used to cut 3-Dimensional and ‘Tube’ type components.
