Hello,

Is there a way to get the weight written out automatically in the BOM?
As you can give your parts density and so on, it would be great if you could
get everything out of this, such as weight cg and so on.

havenīt I found it or is it not possible?

It is not automatic in today's version. You have to use the custom properties. It may potential be available in PU1 due out toward the end of the month.

Hello Misen,

If you have IronPRO XT installed you could use the attached AutoWeight.icb.
It automatically inserts the weight of parts/assemblies in a column.

Attached File  AutoWeight.icb ( 2.31k ) Number of downloads: 265

Also remember, you can setup BOM's with formulas so weight can e automatically calculated based on other "cells"

NOTE: We are still anticipating a PU1 bug fix for storing formulas in the BOM.
