Hello
I am trying to use our formula curve to create parabola for this lamp.

Will anybody help me showing what values to be inserted in the RED square box in the formula curve.

Will appreciate the help.

Well basically the formula is already caluclated and the input is basically the Start and End Value. These control the start on the Left and End on the Right location for the width on the Cartesian plane. The Value on the Y equation (.2) will control the length of the final shape. For instance, try .2 and 2 as values. (assuming you set the start and end values the same over the test) - The larger value will mean a thinner result where as a smaller value will be a larger width (try .02) to see the difference).

If you use the formula in the Equation in Cartesian coordinates section:
y^2=4px

This is actually representing a left/right parabola that coverts to X=4p*t*t and y=t.

The vertical representation is the way the default is setup.

Maybe that helps out a bit.
