Many companies find is necessary to determine
Part/assembly volume or overall sizebox dimensions for
quoting material costs and more. So heres a tip that
will help that process.

When working with assemblies/parts it is important to
know the size of the minimum bounding box (footprint)
that fully contains the assembly/part. With IronCAD,
this is very easy, all you have to do is turn on Sizebox
Dimensions
located under the View Menu.
When activated all selected IntelliShapes (features)
display the sizebox dimensions by default.

This is not the case for selected assemblies/parts even
with the view sizebox dimensions active. By default
they do not display the sizebox. To change this you
have to right mouse click the desired assembly.part and
choose Properties/Sizebox tab. In the
Display area select the Box[/b] option as
shown in image here http://www.magnacad.com/images/BOXdims.jpg
. This will allow a assembly/part to
display its bounding volume dimensions.

In some cases, you may need to turn off and on the
Box option shouldyou have resized any IntelliShapes.
