Ever have a need to aply a bump texture to a small area on a surface?

Well, heres how to do it ...Use the new SPLIT FACE tool. Draw a 2D shape depicting the area you want to apply bump texture to, then simple SPLIT FACE and apply the bums to the desired surface that was split.

There is GREAT for applying embossed LOGOS and our text as a bump when cretaing a extruding intellishpae of logo is too complex and impossible.

Enjoy

Beautimous! I guess that trick could also be used to place several decals on a surface...

Yup Beat,
The nice thing is that there is no visible "seam" line when rendered.
