Where I can find full list of "Cell Names" (names of Variables), that can be used for creating custom style?

Do you mean the cell names that pull information from the Scene part files? If so I'll have to dig it up.

You must enter the variables in the template. Movie attachment.

It took me quite a while to get it all working and I'm still not sure of certain things, but here are some templates that our Swedish users are using.

When you go to Paper, Paper Settings you can change from Swedish to English frame and title block, as well as paper size (with its frame).

1. Frame (CFM file) to use - options are based on the Paper Size and Paper Orientation that is set.

2. Title Block (CHD file) to use - not connected to any other setting.

3. BOM settings (set up in the same TPL file) - are not saved in a separate file, but in the TPL file itself. Settings are controlled under Style Manager - Bom.

Here are the template files.
Attached File  v2013_CAXA_TPL.zip ( 1.11mb ) Number of downloads: 18

You can add them to either

the System Template Directory:
C:\Program Files\IronCAD\2014\bin\CAXADraft\Template\en-US

or the User Template Directory:
C:\Users\Jonas\AppData\Local\CAXA\CAXA DRAFT MECHANICAL CXICINT 2015Predict\13.0\en-US\Template

You will get them separated in the drop down menus depending on which folder you store them in.

Here is a modified drawing with English text in the BOM and the Title Block.

Yaroslav,
I don't think it is very important what Cell Title or Cell Name you set for the BOM in the Style Manager. It is when you create the BOM that you can decide which values to use, even Custom Properties.

Thanks Jonas,
Well I still have issues with my BOM populating and adding item bubbles to views . It appears that the Caxa BOM is not as easy as the ICD portion.

IronDudes, any tutorial videos anywhere on how to create, manage and just setup BOMS in Caxadraft?

I agree that it is very hard to get it working properly. The ICD BOM is far more easy to set up and choose settings from. But on the other hand the ICD BOM is very limited in settings and sometimes very hard to control the appearance of (default font, edge size etc). In CAXA there almost to much to choose from! But the whole CAXA BOM setup and workflow should be looked at.

In some cases where no text seems to be showing up it was due to 0 size text font in the Style Manager.

Adding Item bubbles haven't been an issue, but make sure you have the same configuration used in both the view and in the BOM (same with the ICD).

I guess you mean in the drawing header title block? No, I don't think those are working yet. I've been using the same values as the ICD is using, that is why the Part Mass value is used for the Weight. It is for the future... at the moment you have to manually populate the information.

+1 for the CAXA BOM being a difficult to set up , I have managed to muddle through and now I can set it up how i want, but it was confusing to start with.

so exactly talking about the drawing title block header. I checked and the file responsible for the variables in CAXA is ResApp.dll

C:\Program Files\IronCAD\2014\bin\CAXADraft\bin\en-us
our Polish version of such scale was changed "Skala" and did not work smile.gif
