I'm trying to import a STEP file generated by Solidworks. It has 9 bodies and 9 Breps in it. When I right-click on a body in the system tree, I get an option to associate a body with a BREP. However, when I do this, all I get is a SaveAs dialog. I will request an x_t file from the Solidworks jockey, but that is just a workaround. It would be nice if this feature were described in help.

Hi Steve,

The purpose of that option is to link that body to an external .ics file that can then be inserted into another Scene and used to derive parts or assemblies.
