Here's a tip for V11 (for those of you with the beta installed)

When using the new "Profile Locator Curve as Guide Path" option it is best to create the path curve first then attach the cross-sections to it. Otherwise it will be hard to line up the local coordinates (XYZ directions) between them and you'll most likely get a twisted loft.
