Not sure when this ability appeared but glad I found it.

If you run a Statistics check on your model and it has bad entitities, they will be indicated by yellow dots. Not to mention if you select the issue from the dialog it will highlight the associated problems with dots. Also you can manipulate your view while the dialog box is still open.

its present in v10 as I came across this for the first time just the other day. It was handy , my fix was to switch the part to parasolid and back again to acis and it seemed to fix it. (Nasty ProE geometry)
