I forgot how to do this so maybe can kickstart my brain.

I want to create a BOM for estimating so I create part property "Cost" then have the "Cost" column in the BOM.

Then if remember correctly, there used to be a way to add up columns in the BOM?

If anyone can help, thats great!

That ability never really got off the ground and does not work (updating the BOM wipes out the math) so it isn't currently possible.

ok, at least I'm not totally loosing my mind.

If I understand correctly, in this case I do not see a problem. Part properties - Custom

Hi Yaroslav,
Close however the goal is to have the QTY x COST then a column that would SUM the total.
thanks

This is actually for aclient asking, although i could use this featue very often especially in bid modeling.

However, I think this can be done in IronPRO and I am going to try and give that a shot.

Hi Tom,
Try this:

I think the problem with the Math in the BOM is that it gets wiped out every time the BOM updates, that is the bug I recall.
