IRONCAD 10.0 Hotfix #4- Release Notes - 5.09.2008

This document contains release information about IRONCAD 10.0 Hotfix #4 including installation notes and any other key information for running/installing IRONCAD 10.0 Hotfix #4.

Items Addressed/Added in Hotfix #4 (Note: Hotfix #4 will contain all previous hotfix changes)

• QA 20840 - Bug in Export image using API causes IronCAD to Crash.
• QA 20913 - Suppress assembly with COG produces internal application error.
• QA 20914 - Dimension Disassociation - Section view lost lines, dimension mostly go disassociated.
• QA 20930 - Dimension Disassociation - Section View update message and then dimension lost on the section view.
• QA 20945 - Application Error on Drawing view create due to the Automatic Center lines.
• QA 20949 - Dimensions to Group shapes in the drawing are appearing off the geometry.
• QA 20950 - Catia Product Files are importing parts in the wrong position due to Regional Settings.
• QA 20986 - Insert filet on 3D Curve crashes IronCAD if hitting on segments that are not lines multiple times.
• QA 20989 - Could not copy some assembly's at this file level on sub-external linked files.
• QA 21009 - Expose the Material Name Part Property in ICAPI is now added.
• QA 21017 - This assembly  loads with no graphics visible or IC just closes depend on rendering mode.
• QA 21035 - Selecting parts in the scene browser and cause random dup/structure change and de-selection.
• QA 21036 - Save/Load problems due to assembly feature information not correct with relations.
• QA 21040 - Chamfer tool exception when smoothly connected off and in distance-angle mode crash.
• QA 21050 - Camera Advanced tools causing drawing sheet to invert.
• QA 21051 - Save/Load problems due to disconnected dimensions and the advance real-time rendering mode saving preview data.
• QA 21053 - Drawing not saving in an updated state with dimensions.
• QA 21059 - Smooth Shaded is not showing unless the Hidden Edges are turned on (fix for creating this case). For existing case, you need to switch to OpenGL, save the file, and then re-open in the advance real-time rendering mode.
• QA 21064 - Undo causes the sketch to be changed when Property Bowser is opened.
• QA 21071 - General crashes doing anything to this assembly, only on Swedish Regional settings
• QA 21074 - Incorrect geometry displayed when it should not in the advance real-time rendering mode.
• QA 21079 - Auto-Centerline/Centermark causing dimensions to disconnect on the drawing. 
• QA 21087 - IronCAD closes after modifying these parameters and suppressing/unsuppressing parts
• QA 21089 - Dimension tools locked out after switching sheet in the middle of the dim command
• QA 21095 - Drawing views blanking after reordering sheets (note: update all would fix the case).
• QA 21096 - Can't save this drawing due to the .bmp embedded onto the drawing.
• QA 21101 - Dimension reattachment using multi-select is not working in this drawing but works one at a time.
• QA 21109 - Update a single view in sheet causes all views in sheet to connect to scene and activate configuration.
• QA 21110 - Dimension command becomes unusable after switching sheets when the tool was active and returning to the original sheet.
• QA 21113 - IronCAD closes when updating all views in this drawing.
• QA 21118 - Property Browser crash pressing F10 twice on the Cross Section grid when CAXA Draft is open.
• QA 21119 - Incorrect handling of broken constraints on save in advance rendering mode causing a failed to save.
• QA 21126 - Scene Browser Expand/Collapse on Items not working on Second Scene File with SB Open Option in HF3
• QA 21133 - Application Error after creating view on a different sheet when the dimension tool was active on the other sheet.
• QA 21137 - Changes on the drawing aren't being saved to a copied sheet
• QA 21140 - Scene Browser Shape gets highlighted and never un-highlights when drag from catalog passes over the scene browser on drop.
• QA 21141 - Scene Browser Open option makes suppress ineffective.
• QA 21143 - Technical drawing merge curve option does not work after HF2.
• QA 21148 - Face ID is lost on cylinder in a specific case
• QA 21151 - Memory error after creating Parameters and closing IronCAD.
• QA 21152 - Internal App Error, related to closing Property Browser with Edit View still running on the drawing.
• QA 21153 - Drawing crash when change the style of the dimension which is transferred from 2D sketch.
• QA 21157 - Drawing select all views with "Box Select" crash when a section view is contained in the selection.
• QA 21161 - Parts change to Facet parts on Save As after shading a view and saving (Raster data was becoming corrupt).
• QA 21167 - Unlinking parts causes the BOM information to be deleted on unlinked part
• QA 21174 - Failed to Save As on drawing after canceling prompt for scene activation.
• QA 21193 - File in use message comes up after save of scene, create drawing, save as on scene, and close of scene.
• QA 21203 - IronCAD crashes when undo sweep creation with 2d profile handle shown.
• QA 21208 - Changing link parts username in Scene Browser doesn't apply the name change to the link across assemblies.
• QA 21209 - Arc dimension causes IronCAD to crash after hitting TAB key during the placement of the dimension.

• Enhancements
  • Scene Browser Options in the Tools-options to control default visibility - Users can enable the scene browser to be open for newly created scene and drawings. Also, an option to default it to the auto-hide state is available.
  • Through all option on custom hole should only go to the face of the part, not to the end of the sizebox in the drawing - This enhancement will stop the through all extending to the boundary of the part sizebox and displaying correctly in the drawing. Note: the scene will still display through the part sizebox to handle angled faces.
  • Select Part/Assembly to project has been enhanced - better performance, drawing view boundaries, and transfer data is handled  properly for draft and precise views (Quick views may still have boundary box issues).
  • Assemble of Linked parts should give option to maintain link across parents to parts not in selection - When assembling parts that have a linked part not included in the selection, a prompt will give the option to maintain the link to the parts across parents.
