3D Design Environment
The 3D Design Environment is where all 3D development
is conducted. This environment consists primarily of Scenes. Scene's can contain single part/assembly elements or can contain multiple objects including
2D Shapes,
Facet models,
3D Wires/Curves,
OLE Objects and textures. All part design, assembly, rendering, and animation are handled in the 3D Design Environment. There are many tools and options for such functions as navigating the scene, displaying the coordinate systems, using split screens/multiple windows, inserting/manipulating cameras, creating parts/assemblies
/surfaces/features
, and many more items. Review the contents of this section to learn the key aspects of the 3D Design Environment.
